Tips On: Sketching!

Hello all!^. How you doing?. Hope you all are having fun following my DIYs x>. Lately there has been rise in my sketch work at my instagram account: @styleatfootstep. I share fun behind the scene videos a lot at my instagram. Which got beginner designers question that how to even sketch? And from where you should start?. Personally, I sketch just for fun. During my fashion degree, I would get tons of assignments related to sketching part. Somehow I got addicted to drawing. Here are some ideas & tips for starting out as a doodle artist or sketcher:

Pretty Things To Remember:

These lovely tips are beautiful, you can save it in your phone

for reminder.When you are sketching, patience is the key fendis.

You can not possibly finish one sketch in a day. Take time,

relax. Just do one bit at a time. So that you have 

really made your sketch from heart & not for the sake

of pressure received from it.

Start From Here:

The first homework I have for you is to start

with learning to draw realistic looking eye.

Trust me I learned to draw this when was hardly 

11 years old. It's something very basic you

should know how to sketch.The above tutorial is awesome.

You can make step by step realistic eye by following  the above

steps^.

Envision Your Fantasy:

Your next homework I want to give you is,

write down your list of thoughts & feelings.

Try drawing them on sketch paper. This

activity will not only help you picture your

imagination better, but also the more you will

do so, the better chances of creative growth

you will receive x>. I started out exactly like that.

Food Diary #1: Popsicles, Candy Maneuver and Jungle Juice!

I love traveling, going out for fun & trying out new cuisines. When I save money, I always go buy one of my favorite meals.After all you only live once and it's best to treat yourself from time to time. Here are my 5 cravings that I want you to try out till you living:

#1 Emirates Business Class Meal:

The best meal i ever had. It's even more delicious than 5 star hotel. Flying with emirates?, better go through business class next time.

Anyway, here is what I ate there:

*Pan fried salmon, with mashed sweet potatoes & veggies.

*Mix of fruit salad & chicken tikka.

*Three different types of bread with butter.

*For dessert I ate cheese cake with blue berry sauce &

godiva chocolate.

Everything was just yum but  it gets better,

especially when you have breakfast too:

My breakfast experience was amazing,

I ate:

*Fruit salad with Parmesan bread with butter

*Later, I ate cheese omelette with sausage, chicken steak, tomato sauce & crispy fries

*Lastly, for dessert they give me big basket full of different types of chocolate bread & cupcakes to choose from I picked this yum dark chocolate cupcake

Had very much fun sleeping in big chairs & comfortable pillows. loved my experience.

Thank you Emirates for making my trip comfy and fun!.

#2 Popsicles:

I love Popsicle & ice lollies. My favorite is Jet sport by walls. It's orange flavored, i can have dozens of them in a day. Have not tried that yet? you should!.

#3 London Fish & Chips:

I love fries & fish. The best part about london fish & chips is the delicious cream sauce dipping they give along with your ordered snack. I have this snack whenever I visit Dubai. 

#4 Candy Maneuver:

This might sound crazy. But I have a sweet tooth. I love marshmallows, jellies, chocolates & sweets. I always go for candy shopping spree with my best friend & buy bag full of sweet treats. My favorite chocolate is kitkat chunky duo. I love the thickness of crispy kitkat layer you get with every bite of it.

My Candy Tip: Go out & buy bunch yourself, you will love it fendis!.

#5  Jungle Juice:

The most refreshing experience I had was grabbing one of these sugar cane juices. They freshly make fruit juices in front of you. You can find this is Dubai at Jungle juice.

Inspirations and Ideas: Terrarium & Succulents Edition!

The current love i am having is for these pretty succulents x>. They are amazing to keep indoors/outdoors, how about you make one yourself?. Here are some cool ideas and things to check out before making your own very terrarium:

#1 Type Of Succulent:

There are variety of succulents to choose from,

personally i like "white knight" as it looks clean

& not thorny.

#2 Neon Pebbles:

You can fill the top layer of your

succulent planter with pretty neon pebbles^^.

Any fish pet store will have these.

#3  Terrarium in Mini Bottle:

Adorable idea!  fill up miniature bottle 

bought from craft store with terrarium fillings.

#4 Mixture of Succulent Planter:

You can plant variety of different succulents in

same planter for your garden^.

#5 Purple & Blue Succulents:

Two color combination of succulents can be planted in

your garden.They eventually grow out looking

so pretty x>.

#6 Mini Succulent Pots:

Succulents can be planted in different

mini pots too like these. This works well

for keeping them indoors^.

#7 Terrarium Necklace:

It's not really a traditional terrarium, 

but it's an idea of it. I love how the tiny mushroom

has butterfly on it^.

#8 Terrarium In Jars & Bowl:

Fish bowls can be used for planting these

pretties. Quite cool^^.

#9 Succulents with Cactus:

This looks amazing. Cactus and succulents can be 

planted together as well. But the only problem might

come will be the thorn like needles of cactus

so be very carefully 

when planting a cactus^.

#10 How to make terrarium?

 

Here are all ingredients you will be needing to 

make your own terrarium in a jar:

*Empty Jar

*Moss

*Soil

*Pebbles

*Charcoal pieces

*Miniature figures

You add these layer by layer.

Place your miniature figures on top of it

once your're done :>.

Tips On: Making Your Own Logo

When I started my face book page and brand: Style At Foot Step, I really wanted my logo to not typically be a geometric sign or corel draw infused image. I wanted my logo to endure that party vibe. I wanted it to be colorful, fun and unique. So here what I did:

I chose my photo and desaturated it's colors, then I resaturated

it again with hues. Adding cute text using picmonkey.com and

mustache stamp later^.

My Inspiration:

Kfc logo of colonel sanders xD.

I know it's funny that my inspiration came from the weirdest

part ever. But it's true i love KFC. Crazy about it!.

This logo is so unique, I had to use it as my inspiration.

Original Photo:

This picture was taken at floral day theme party,

i was all colorful & holding balloons. What could be

perfect match than this photo :>?. I was smiling like

colonel in this photo plus was holding balloons.

It was perfect logo for my brand ^^.

Tips on choosing logo:

#1 Make sure your logo represents the

type of service/product you selling.

#2 It should go according to your theme.

#3 Select a unique image/sign.

#4 Even silly inspirations can make up

a cute logo eventually ;>.

Custom Order: Cat Masks!

Hey all!. Hope you all doing great ^^. I have been working very hard irrespective of the fact i am not updating my blog much. You should go check out my instagram account: @styleatfootstep then you will know what i have been up to. Anyway, i am very much grateful to all those who keep buying things from me and give me cute custom orders, which made me realize it's time to give back. I have decided to exclude most of "shop" labels from my blog and include"DIYS". I really feel like i am not contributing to help the community and beginner designers. Most of my labels here have created a superficial image of me that maybe i am so selfish that all i care about is "SALES" and money (xD lol i know). It is so not true (totally!), i don't want to blog for money or sales anymore. I just want to utilize my talents to be helpful to someone. So i'm going to start series of new labels just to help you younger lot to design better and get cool ideas x>.

But meanwhile, here is my custom order I made for someone^^:

I made these masks from glitter foam sheet with proper matching lining behind

each one of these. For the box I sketched cute mask & painted it with acrylic ^.

Then I added rhinestones on the mask and name of receiver on box.

Make your own F.R.I.E.N.D.S collage (Part:1)

Hello, I was confined from past few week working on my new content & collection. I have also decided to post in between on days apart from friday-sunday. I have so much new content that it can't be shared in 3 days a week schedule. I personally feel life's short and I want all these ideas out of my head. I will be keeping my thoughts and words short here though, just to save time.^

Few days ago I came across this cool collage photo resembling "f.r.i.e.n.d.s" signature style. I was like i had to make my own version of it and decided to give tribute to my best friend :>.

Here is our story:

#1 Remember the time I did not even know you?:p- (2012- Funk Art theme party)

#2 And the time we were mistaken as vampires xp (2013- Secret place)

#3 The time where we busted our a** on printing rug & you could not help but show off more (2013-Printing exam)

#4 How about the time when you forgot about me while watching snow xD (2013-Azaad kashmir trip)

#5 The time you climbed mountain with courage but

 forgot how to get off from it xp (2013- Toli peer)

#6 And the time I let you have my half sand witch (2013- Lunch time on top of toli peer)

#7 The time Dad bought me new digital cam & you got more shit excited to take selfies than I did xD (2013)

#8 The time when you blew away whole auditorium when my name got called off in hall for award ceremony but I was not there xp (2013- award ceremony)

#9 The time you were my neighbor next to my stall (2013)

#10 The time you shit waited for 2 hours to get face painting done on your face at Halloween night you could have asked me to do that instead xp seriously (2013- Halloween night)

Overall i'm happy to spend all that time with you pal, thanks for being such an amazing friend :>
Wait till part:2 it'll be more dirtier and funnier xp.
